Stampin' In Alaska

  I'm joining the current Art Impressions Challenge to include flowers, trees, plants, etc.  My bookmark features the AI Garden Wagon Mini Set . I began by stamping the wagon and flowers on white card stock.  A puffy cloud background was masked and sponged with Memento inks.  The panel scene and base were die cut with Spellbinder Long Classic Rectangle dies.  A punch from my stash was used for the tab and denim ribbon adhered.  A Scripture from Sweet 'n Sassy's In the Psalms set finishes the project. The current Art Impressions Challenge is all about flowers.  I recently purchased the adorable Enjoy the Ride Set .  I thought the bicycle and flower basket would make a great Spring Floral scene. The bicycle was colored with Copic Markers and masked.  The cloudy sky was sponged then flowers were stamped from the AI Garden Wagon Mini set.  Coordinating designer papers, prima flowers and pearls finish the card. The current challenge at Art Impressions is Desktop Decor .  I decided to use a recycled acrylic photo frame to make a fun desk calendar. I started by stamping the AI Garden Wagon Mini Set onto watercolor paper with Versafine ink.  The wagon was colored with Tombow markers and blended.  The flowers and grass were stamped with Tim Holtz Distress Inks - Mowed Lawn, Seedless Preserves and Wilted Violet.  The background was sponged with a cloud die and Salty Ocean distress ink. A gingham ribbon from Gina K and sentiment from Verve Stamps finish the project.  At year end, this can also become a desktop photo frame!  A small photo can slide into the frame when the calendar is removed. I'm joining the current Art Impressions Challenge - Flowers with this floral bookmark.  I started by stamping the wagon image from Art Impressions Garden Wagon Mini set .  The wagon was loosely masked with a post-it note then various floral images from the set were stamped in Memento inks.   The Scripture stamp is called Good Work by Verve.  I finished by using the Spellbinders Long Classic Rectangle Large die to cut the bookmark then masking with Memento ink. As I final step I placed the bookmark in a Scotch thermal laminating pouch and ran it through my Scotch laminator.  A quick hole punch and ribbon finish the bookmark.
