Stampin' In Alaska

  I'm posting my final entry for the MFT Camp Create Week of Challenges with Day 1 - Spectacular Shakers .  My rocking shaker card features the adorable Birdie Brown Mermazing set. I started by die cutting a large circle from Stampin' Up! Night of Navy cardstock.  Designer paper is from Fancy Pants Designs Down by the Shore.  The mini shaker was layered onto the rocking base, then various images were layered for the scene.  All images were colored with Copic Markers. I'm joining the current sketch challenge at My Favorite Things with this fun underwater ocean scene.  My card features the adorable Mermazing set by Birdie Brown.   The images were all colored with Copic Markers and fussy cut.  I sponged the base panel with Tim Holtz distress inks:  Stormy Sky, Salty Ocean, Mermaid Lagoon and Blueprint sketch.  The MFT Ray of Light Stencil was used with Stormy Sky ink. After I spritzed with water and air dried the small fish, kelp and coral were stamped with Versafine Clair ink.  The sentiment is from PI - All Occasion Sentiments set. I am joining Camp Create 2019 hosted by My Favorite Things for the first time this year.  Day 1 is Wonderful Watercolor.  I have used the current sketch challenge as inspiration featuring Birdie Brown's Mermazing set. The background panel has been watercolored using Tim Holtz distress inks.  I swiped Blueprint Sketch, Peacock Feathers and Salty Ocean on a sheet protector and misted with water.  I also misted a sheet of Tim Holtz water color paper then laid it on the ink.  I kept spritzing the ink and inking the panel until it was covered.   This is such a fun watercolor technique with different results every time! I'm sharing a quick card for the current MFT Card Challenge #374 .  My card features the adorable MFT Mermazing set by Birdie Brown.  This set is full of fun underwater critters and sweet mermaids.  I will be playing with this set again soon! Thanks for taking a peek!
