Stampin' In Alaska

This week Sassy Cathy has asked us to use our favorite color combo over on the Sassy Cheryl's Digi Stamps Challenge Blog .  Well, my current favorite has been Primary colors - blue, green, orange and yellow!  Here's what I created using the new Sassy Sally Pondering Thoughts : The sun die and sentiment are from Lil' Inkers Designs.  The sky was created using the Stampin' Up! Cloud die by Sizzix and blue vellum.  The gingham papers are from Memory Box. I have another quick post tonight for this week's Sassy Cheryl Challenge.   This week's challenge is to use the colors Green , Orange and White on your card or project.  I had this sweet image printed and waiting for coloring.  So, here's what I came up with using " Thick as Thieves ": Since I was in the coloring mood tonight, I am including a close up shot of Sassy Sally and Bella.  I really had so much fun coloring this mischievous pair!  One wonders what Sally has up her sleeve with that little grin.  Of course, Bella must be in on the story because of the slight tilt of her head! The image was colored with Copic Markers, Prismacolor pencils and Faber-Castell pencils.  The sky was sponged with Memento Summer Sky ink and a Spellbinder Scallop circle.  It's so easy and the finished product looks like a cloudy sky! It's a brand new week of sharing with all of the nosy "Sassettes" (including me!) for Cheryl's Show Me  Challenge .  DH snuck out to go caribou hunting this weekend and left me alone with check book.  :-)   Shhhh.... don't tell him all of the goodies that I found at my LSS (Stamp Attic) and Michael's. Sorry, I cut off the packaging, but the giraffe image and sentiment is from Art Impressions.  I laughed so hard when I saw this set!  It describes many days that I wish I could make this a to-go order!!  I hope to play with him really soon.  If you look closely you will also see the beginning of my Sassy Cheryl challenge card for this week.  Isn't Sassy Sally a cutie!!
