Stampin' In Alaska

  I'm playing along with the current Anything Goes challenge over at Mo's challenge blog.  I've merged two of Mo's digital images to create this scene.  Thinking of You and Beach Elements 1 . The image was colored with Copic Markers.  The sky was sponged with Memento ink and a scallop die to create the clouds.  Memento ink was lightly sponged for the ocean and sand.  Designer papers are from Bo Bunny Key Lime paper pad. This will be going to a co-worker who is retiring soon.  I love this sweet image and it works perfectly for a going away card. I'm joining the March "Going round in Circles" challenge at the Penny Black and More challenge blog .  I started by stenciling clouds onto the base panel then splashing distress ink.   The hedgehog image from the Penny Black Transparent set - Hugs! was colored with Copic Markers and die cut.  A coordinating sentiment was also stamped and die cut.  Both were layered onto black cardstock.  The "bubbles" were die cut using Memory Box Loopy Rings die and vellum.  Small gems finish the card. This set has such cute images!  I will be playing with this again really soon.  Thanks so much for taking a peek at my card. The current sketch challenge at Your Next Stamp had me stumped. I overcame my "fear" of the diagonal panels and came up with this simple little "Thinking of You" card. It features an image from Aquarium Antics which has been stamped onto water color paper, colored with Tombow markers and die cut.   The embellishments are minimal since it is intended for a male recipient.    Thanks for taking a look! Each week Jodie generously features a free image in the Bugaboo shop. {Love that!} This week's image is a sweet one Raggedy Angel - Stars I printed the image onto Stampin' Up! Crumb Cake cardstock and colored with Prismapencils.  Wink of Stella was added to the wings and halo. I kept the design clean and simple for mailing.
