Stampin' In Alaska

I'm sharing a card for the current sketch and color challenge at Your Next Stamp .  My card features the YNS Perk Up stamp set.  What better set to feature for the Winter Coffee Lovers Bloghop ! I started by stamping the image onto Stampin' Up! Whisper White cardstock and coloring with Spectrum Noir and Copic Markers.  The image was fussy cut and layered onto a snowflake vellum circle panel (also SU).   I have been seeing vellum used more lately and so I've felt the urge to dig out my stash and use it! I finished the card with Stampin' Up! rhinestones, silver cord and a machine stitched border.  Designer paper is from Basic Grey Eskimo Kisses paper pad.   I can't believe that it's already Day 6 of the Winter Coffee Lovers Bloghop !   If you love coffee, tea or cocoa be sure to check it out. Sharing a card for the current sketch challenge at My Favorite Things.  I thought the circle windows would be perfect for a shaker card.  I pulled out a retired coffee sentiment set from MFT called CS Coffee.  The coffee cups are from Gina Marie Coffee Words Stamp. Thanks so much for all of you who participating in the week long Holiday Chaos challenge over at Catch the Bug!  Be sure to check the blog for all of the winners. Today the design team is back with a new weekly challenge - Naked Stamping - No coloring but you can use colored ink.  My shaker card began by printing the Bugaboo Coffee Words Cup image onto vellum.   It's hard to see in the picture, but the top panel was dry embossed with a snowflake folder.   The border was created using Gina K Designs Fancy Foils from Therm O Web.  I love the added sparkle that the foil provides and it is SO easy!   To finish the card I added Gina K Designs Gingham Fancy Ribbon and snowflake brad.
