  I'm joining the current Mo's challenge to use one of her retiring images.  It was SO hard to select an image for this challenge!  There are so many adorable images retiring. My card features the adorable In The Bath .  The image was colored with alcohol markers and prismacolor pencils.   I wanted to the little girl to come off the card so I fussy cut the top portion of the scene.  It was mounted onto 4.25 SU Regal Rose card stock and folded.  I remembered the fun Sizzix Bright Bubbles die cut in my stash. Perfect!!   I'm joining Mo's Summer Fun challenge with a favorite summer past time - Fishing!  I have several fishermen in my family and I love Mo's Fishing image. The image was printed onto Stampin' Up! Whisper White card stock and colored with Copic Markers.   I masked and sponged the cloudy background with distress inks.  A waves stencil from MFT was used for the water. I couldn't resist adding the fish image from Art Impressions.  Don't you love his expression?!  I finished with a birthday sentiment from AI and button embellishments from my stash.   I'm joining the Anything Goes Challenge at Mo's Digital Pencil with an older image by Mo Manning called Summer Girl.  (Sorry, it appears to be retired as I was unable to find it in the store.) My shaker card started with a pasta box --- Yep, I salvaged this ziti pasta box when I spotted the fun window on the front!! Crazy, huh?!  Well, I trimmed the cardboard to the appropriate size then layered my designer paper.  The "window" was die cut on my dp with a Spellbinder rectangle die.     I added Sprinkles Embellishments from Stampin' Up! for the shaker design.  The sweet Summer Girl digi was colored with alcohol markers and fussy cut.  The sun die and sentiment are from Lil' Inkers Designs.   I'm sharing an Anniversary card with the current Mo's Digital Challenge featuring one of my favorite Mo Manning images - Tom and Tilly . The image was colored with Prismacolor pencils and blended with baby oil.  I fussy cut the image and layered it with dimension foam onto a galaxy background.   I experimented with the "grass" by layering various sizes of die cut circles.  It's difficult to see, but I like the effect and will try it again!   I'm playing along with the current Anything Goes challenge over at Mo's challenge blog.  I've merged two of Mo's digital images to create this scene.  Thinking of You and Beach Elements 1 . The image was colored with Copic Markers.  The sky was sponged with Memento ink and a scallop die to create the clouds.  Memento ink was lightly sponged for the ocean and sand.  Designer papers are from Bo Bunny Key Lime paper pad. This will be going to a co-worker who is retiring soon.  I love this sweet image and it works perfectly for a going away card. Today starts a new challenge at Mo's Digital Pencil .  The challenge theme for December is Winter.  We would love to see your Mo Manning images including snow, Christmas and any winter themed project. I was the lucky winner of the October challenge and selected the adorable new Happiness Is digital image as my prize.   I was also asked to join the team this month as Guest Designer.  I'm not gonna lie... Mo's Design Team is so full of talented ladies that I was a little intimidated!   BUT Mo's digis are so fabulous and fun to color that this little card went together quickly. The card base was created with a watercolor wash using distress inks.  Once dried, I splattered white acrylic paint using a toothbrush for a snowy effect.  The image was colored with Copic Markers and fussy cut then layered over a wintery die cut from Memory Box.  I finished the card with a sentiment stamp from my stash. It's been a few weeks since I've had a chance to play along with Mo's Challenge Blog .  This week is "Don't be Square".  I decided to color up this adorable image by Mo called " Snow Day " and make a chipboard ornament. Below are the supplies that I used for the snowflake chipboard.   It was super easy to create!  I applied the SU Craft White Pigment Ink directly to the chipboard.  Then I liberally sprinkled the Stampin' Emboss Iridescent Ice powder over the wet ink.  I quickly heated the entire chipboard piece with my Marvy heat tool.  The image was colored with Copic Markers, liquid applique was applied to the coat and the entire image was fussy cut then applied with dimension foam to the snowflake chipboard.  I added a piece of silver cord to hang the snowflake. This week's challenge on Mo's Digital Challenge blog is "Anything Goes" with a Mo Manning image, of course.  When Mo first introduced " Moo ", I knew I had to have it!  The sad eyes are just so adorable!  I had this image colored and waiting on my craft desk when this week's challenge was announced. Here's the card that I created for the challenge: As usual, I kept it pretty clean and simple focusing on the adorable image.  The base card stock is Stampin' Up Kraft (retired).  Why, oh why, did Stampin' Up discontinue their Kraft card stock??  It's my favorite!  The color panels are from October Afternoon "Farm Fresh" paper pad and machine stitched. The adorable digital image was colored with Copic Markers.  The sentiment is computer generated and a red ribbon finishes the card! This is my submission for this week's challenge over on the Mo's Challenge Blog .  Our challenge was an easy one this week:  Anything Goes with a Mo Image!  I've been waiting for the perfect challenge to color up this sweet little image called " Bubbles Girl ".  Of course, I combined one of the pups from " Lazy Mutt " and it seemed the perfect pairing! The girl image was colored with Copic Markers.  The sleeping pup was colored with Prismacolor pencils and baby oil.  The background of the main panel was sponged with Memento Dandelion ink.  Stampin' Up Crystal Effects was added to the bubbles after coloring with Copic Markers.  The sentiment is a freebie from the Create With TLC blog . It's another fun week of challenges on the Mo Manning Digital Challenge Blog .  This week we are challenged to make a circle card with our Mo Manning image.  This is what I came up with:  I kept it pretty Clean and Simple as a Happy Birthday to the men in my family.  I have several who are avid fisherman!  This is called "Fishing" and can be purchased in Mo's store HERE .  This is probably one of my favorites!  I love the details of this image and that I can color it or leave it sepia and it always looks so great.  Thanks for stopping by and taking a closer look. This week's challenge over on Mo's Digital Challenge blog is "Anything Goes". I had Mo's "Big Chair" already colored on my desk and thought it would be perfect for this week's challenge. I browsed the FB Gallery and found a few easel cards with this image. I thought I would give it a try. The image was colored with copic markers then cut out with Spellbinders Wonky Rectangle die cut. I combined it with papers from October Afternoon Fly a Kite and Thrift Shop. The sentiment is computer generated and cut out with Spellbinder Oval nestibilities then layers on Fancy Tags Two. The flower die is from MFT. This card will probably go out to my sister this week. She lives over 2000 miles away and just had my second niece! My first beautiful niece is 22 months old and inspired the card. They are a handful, but SO sweet. Thanks for stopping by to take a look! Hope you have a creative week!

Dorcas is our hostess this week over on Mo's Digital Challenge blog . She has picked the lovely photo below for our inspiration. Here is my interpretation of the photo: I wanted to focus on the colorful flower bouquet of the inspiration photo. I decided to color " Jack and Ginger " in sepia tones to highlight the colorful bouquet that Jack has prepared for Ginger. To mimic the lovely wedding dress from the photo I have used cream for my card base and two different dry emboss folders for texture. Debbie is our hostess this week over on Mo's Digital Challenge Blog . Debbie has challenged us to use bling with our Mo Manning digital images. I think this little image called " On the potty " is adorable! My niece is almost ready to potty train and I knew this image was a must. Of course, the image can be used for all kinds of greetings like this "Thinking of You" card that I'm sending to my aunt. The image was colored with Copic Markers and die cut with Spellbinders Wonky Rectangles. I've combined it with designer papers from Basic Grey's Olivia paper pack. This week's challenge over on Mo's Digital Challenge Blog is "Anything Goes". I haven't used this sweet "Pineapple Girl" image for awhile and decided to merge her with a couple of images from Mo's "Beach Elements". I was excited at how easily I merged the images using Paint.net. The scene was colored with Copic markers and sponged with Memento ink. I'm not very happy with my application of Flower Soft for the sand. I guess I need a lot more practice! Finally, I used an MFT die-namics for the sun. Thanks for stopping by to take a look!

I decided that this sweet image called "Angelina's Balloons" would be perfect for a birthday celebration card. She was so much fun to color and I love the balloon static in her hair! I bought Mo's "Big Girl Pants" recently and found the perfect sentiment on the TLC website. Image is colored with Copics and sponged with Memento ink. This week's challenge over on Mo's Digital Pencil Challenge blog is to use Blue. One of my favorite Mo Manning images is " Fishing ". It's so detailed and perfect for the men in my family. A couple of week's ago, DT member Dawn created a sunrise scene with this image. It was so gorgeous that I had to give it a try! The image was colored with Copic Markers, the water with SU watercolor crayons and the sky was sponged with Memento inks. Below is a photo of the inside of this card which is 5.25 square. I made this for my grandfather who is an avid fisherman. He will be 89 years YOUNG next month!

Mo's Digital Challenge - "Anything BUT a Card " When I saw this week's challenge I knew immediately that I wanted to get caught up on my scrap booking. I am ashamed to say that none of our vacation photos from this years trip to Maui have been put in photo albums or scrapbooks! I recently purchased this sweet new image by Mo called " Pineapple Girl ". She was perfect for my layout of our time on Maui with my parents. Her beautiful flowing black hair has been colored with Prismacolor pencils and baby oil. Her dress and skin were colored with Copic Markers. The palm tree base is hand cut from corrugated cardboard and inked. (I love the texture and dimension this gives!) The sand is hand torn from a sheet of cork then inked. The tree top and Aloha sentiment were cut using my Cricut and "Life's A Beach" cartridge. I'm still learning how to use my Cricut machine so this was quite an accomplishment for me! This week Debbie has challenged us to create an easel card with a Mo's Digital image. It must have a bird or animal somewhere on the card. You can check out the design team samples and all of the details HERE . I couldn't resist using this sweet image called "Bronte Kisses" . Mo recently sold this at a reduced price as a fund raiser for Pet Orphans of Southern California. If you missed out, it comes with three sentiments and you can still get it in her shop. I just think it's adorable! What's better than puppy kisses when your feeling down? The first photo is a close up of Bella and Bronte. The image was colored with Primsacolor pencils and baby oil.
