My Favorite Things - Floral Mother's Day

A couple of week's ago I received a fabulously

detailed Lily Die-namics free with my purchase

from My Favorite Things.

It has been sitting on my craft desk because
I was a little intimidated by the many pieces

and the intricacy of the design.

My Favorite Things post fabulous "How-To" Videos

and I found one showing me how to assemble

the floral die. 

Here's what I came up with using this week's MFT sketch #172:

I inked the edges of the die cut pieces to give a

little extra dimension.  The die cut base is Spellbinders

Fancy lattice and the sentiment is from the

Precious Poppies set by Sweet 'n Sassy.
