Art Impressions Challenge #141 - "Like and EMboss"

I hope everyone is beginning the weekend with something fun and crafty! This week's Art Impressions challenge is to use embossing - wet or dry. Here is my project using both. You may have to look closely to see the dry embossed swiss dot border on the top and bottom of the card. The vintage image was wet embossed using my favorite Close to My Heart detailed embossing powder. I dusted off one of Art Impressions vintage stamps Victrola (Sku#T2045) for my project today. Love this line of stamped images! The coordinating digital sentiment is from the Create With TLC set " Music Speaks ". As always, thanks for stopping by! I really enjoy reading your comments.

Another week has come and gone! It's Friday and time to share with Unity's Friends with Flair and  Unity {be Inspired} challenge . This week I am sharing a quick scrapbook layout with a couple of photos from our Winter getaway to Maui. I really enjoyed the process of putting all of the elements  together for this layout.  I have used papers and die cuts from  Imaginisce "Perfect Vacation" and Unity stamps from the  following SMAK sets: Adventure SMAK 1/14 Camera Ready SMAK 2/14 Epic Moments SMAK 6/13 I also managed to sneak in a little mixed media fun on this page. I mixed acrylic paint and embossing paste then swiped it over a chevron stencil on the corners.  After it was dry I used a stamp from Epic Moments on top of the stencil. The journaling tag and envelope were a freebie gift with order from Unity.   Of course, the layout inspiration came from this month's  Unity {be Inspired} cha...
