Gina K Designs - Stately Flowers 3

I am having so much fun creating with Melanie's newest addition to her State Flower series called " Stately Flowers 3 ". Since I live in Alaska, I gravitated to the Forget-me-not images. This is a clean and simple design with a card sized 4.25 square. The image has been colored with Copic Markers and yellow Stickles added to the centers. A couple of dry embossing lines and I have a sweet note card that is appropriate for any occasion. Sassy Cheryl #102 - No designer Paper

Sassy Cathy is our hostess this week and her theme is "no designer paper". This is what I came up with using a Sassy Cheryl Freebie from the Paper Craft Planet website. The image is so sweet and makes a great CAS birthday card. The background clouds were sponged with Memento ink and a scalloped die cut. The image was colored with Copic Markers and the sentiment is from a Stampin' Up! set called "Warmest Regards". I am also posting this on Cheryl's blog for this week's "Show Me" challenge. Thanks for stopping by!

CPS Anniversary Celebration Day 15

It's Day 15 (and the final day) of the CPS 5th Anniversary Celebration. Kim Moreno is the hostess and she chose the following sketch: Here's my take on the sketch: The main image is a vintage image from Crafty Secrets Creative Scraps called "Sew Nice". The bright colors really caught my eye tonight. I've used designer papers from Echo Park For the Record paper pad and GKD Pure Luxury Kraft as the base. I really like the wall hanging on the main image: "Let us grow old like beautiful lace. Cherished and treasure and cared for with Grace." Thanks for stopping by! Whew! I've finished the final of 15 cards for the CPS Anniversary Challenge. It was a lot of fun and kept me busy!

CPS Anniversary Celebration Day 14

Day 14 of the CPS 5th Anniversary Celebration is hosted by Keri. She chose the following sketch: Here is my take on the sketch: I used a silhouette stamp set from Inkadinkado called "Down by the Sea". The backgound was sponged then the image stamped. The sun was made using a Die-namics die cut. This is also being posted to the Sassy Cheryl blog for this week's Show Me challenge .

CPS Anniversary Celebration Day 13

Day 13 of the CPS 5th Anniversary Celebration is being hosted by Lea Lawson. This is the sketch that Lea chose: Here is my take on the sketch: I used a couple of images from a Gina K StampTV kit called "Falling For You". The papers are from Gina K as well. She just released designer papers to match the fabulous pure luxury card stock that she sells. This designer paper pack is called "Red Carpet". This card also qualifies for the Friday Free For All challenge on StampTV. This week's theme is "Let's Get Moving" - using any image that moves. Thanks for stopping by!

CPS Anniversary Celebration Day 12

This is Day 12 of the CPS 5th Anniversary Celebration. Lisa Silver is our hostess and she has chosen the following sketch: Here's my take on the sketch: I have used a digital image by Sassy Cheryl called "Mother's Day Heart Girl". I have combined the image with papers form the Basic Grey Hopscotch paper pad. The image was colored with Copic Markers and paper pieced. Winter White 3d paint was added to the Spellbinder Hearts die cut. A machine stitched border, a row of pearls and a sweet little card! This card also qualifies for this week's Sassy Cheryl Digi Stamp Challenge Blog #101 - "Be My Valentine". Thanks for taking a look!

CPS Anniversary Celebration Day 10

It's Day 10 of the CPS 5th Anniversary Celebration. Lee Murphy is the hostess and she has chosen the following sketch: Here's my take on the sketch: I've used Stampin' Up In Color card stock and designer papers in Island Indigo. The motorcycle is a digital image that I picked on from Cora on her blog: Digital Two for Tuesday . I printed it out and cut it out then popped it up for a little dimension.
