Beccy's Place January New Release - Art of Friendship

Beccy's Place released a lovely floral digital set this month called Art of Friendship .  You can find it HERE in Beccy's shop.  This set comes with two lovely floral images and six coordinating sentiments.  I love the versatility of this set! My first project features one of the lovely floral images.  The card and bookmark set will be a great gift for a treasured friend.  I enjoy tucking a bookmark in as little gift!  The image was printed and colored with Copic Markers then die cut.  I kept the card design clean and simple to focus on the lovely image.  It was layered onto a diagonal stripe embossed panel and finished with rhinestones.   The bookmark was printed and colored with Copic Markers then die cut with Spellbinders Long Classic Rectangles Large.  It was layered onto Gina K. Passionate Pink card stock and finished with a gingham ribbon. I stepped out of my comfort zone with the final project featuring Art of Friend...

Word Art Wednesday Challenge #579 - 580

Welcome to a new bi-weekly challenge at Word Art Wednesday !  This week our sponsor is Avery Elle. I created a mixed media bookmark this week.  I started with printing the Scripture on a Gelli print.  It was die cut with Spellbinders Long Classic Rectangles.  I layered the Scripture onto Stampin' Up!  Taken with Teal and Peach Parfait card stock.  Floral images from Tim Holtz were stamped onto the Gelli Print.   The completed bookmark was laminated.  Various fibers were added as a tassel to complete the project. Stay Crafty with a Blog Named Hero - January Challenge: Love

The current Hero Arts Challenge is the theme of Love.  I pulled out the January 2019 My Monthly Hero Kit for my entry.  There are some great scene building stamps and dies in this kit.  Love it! My card started with a mini slim card base using designer papers from Memory Box.  The bicycle stamp and balloons were wet embossed and colored with Copic Markers and die cut.  An older sentiment stamp from my stash was used with Spellbinder heart dies.  A few rhinestones were added to finish the card. HMFMC #381 -Always Anything Goes/Option Theme "TEAM WORK"

The current House Mouse and Friends optional challenge theme is Team Work.  I couldn't help but think that this group of hummingbirds may be pulling together as a team to get this mousey out of their feeder! My card features the House Mouse Lavender Birdfeeder (retired).  It was colored with Copic Markers and simply matted as the image size is 5 x 3.75.  I added a small sentiment to finish the card. My Favorite Things Sketch #627

I'm joining this week's sketch challenge at My Favorite Things.  I chose to create a tag this week featuring New Best Friend. The image was colored with Copic Markers and fussy cut.  The mixed media tag started by using decofoil transfer gel duo and a star stencil.  Once dried I ran it through my Cuddlebug with a foil sheet.  White acrylic paint was splattered then designer papers applied.  An organdy ribbon finishes the tag.
