Show Me #46

I thought I would share what's on my desk with you all this week. I'm trying to get back into the creative swing of things after my short vacation. The completed card is for a StampTV challenge this week to use Fall colored leaves. I have started a couple of other challenge cards including Sassy Cheryl's (Pink & a die) and My Favorite Things.

I also splurged recently on a trip to my LSS and bought some of the Tim Holtz distress inks. I've been seeing so many beautifully colored images with the distress inks lately. I decided to take the plunge and give it a try! (More to come on that project!)

That's about it for me today! Hope you get a chance to play along with all of us nosy ladies on the Sassy Cheryl blog.

Cynthia, can I tell you that I LOVE that Thanksgiving card with the fall leaves. It is so classically elegant. Can't wait to see what you od with teh distress inks. I need lessons myself. Beautiful coloring on the other images and love the pieced pumpkin.

Hey, we all need to splurge sometime. :) You have some wonderful creating there on your desk! I of course am partial to the Sassy Cheryl's image. :)
Hope you enjoyed your mini vacation and it looks to me, like you're already back in the 'creative' swing.
Thanks for showing us your space this week in the SMThursday fun!!!
Do you know which paper works best with the distress inks? I have tried coloring with the SU blender pen and the distress inks on GP paper and my Cryogen White. They work perfect with Copics but not having good results with with the distress inks. Wondering if I need to use watercolor paper. Have a good one, Linda
